Steel structure is a structure composed of steel, and is one of the main types of building structure. The structure is mainly composed of beam steel, steel column, steel truss and other section steel and steel plate. It adopts silanization, pure manganese phosphating, washing and drying, galvanizing and other anti-rust technologies. Welding, bolts or rivets are commonly used to connect parts or assemblies. Due to its light weight and simple construction, it is widely used in large factories, stadiums, super high-rises and other fields.
Steel has the characteristics of high strength, light weight, good overall rigidity, and strong resistance to deformation. It is especially suitable for large-span, super-high, and super-heavy buildings; the material has good uniformity and good isotropy. Under the basic assumptions of general engineering mechanics, the material has good plasticity and toughness, large deformation, can withstand dynamic loads, high degree of industrialization, and can carry out professional production with a high degree of mechanization.
High-strength steel should be studied in the steel structure to greatly increase its yield point strength. In addition, H-shaped steel (also known as wide-flange steel), T-shaped steel, and profiled steel plates should be rolled to meet the needs of large-span structures and super high-rise buildings.
